As a person who became a Christian later in life, my exposure to the book of James has been frequent and fragmented. I have always loved it, but it always seemed like a giant hodgepodge of unrelated practical advice.
This is an excellent book, with lots of background, history and personal illustrations. The adult Sunday school class I am leading is using it, and class members have found that it is easy reading and provides information they haven't known.
